Popham Airfield (EGHP)

Popham is a splendid thriving GA airfield, always popular with visitors.  It's microlight-friendly too, so everyone gets to go there.  Chief attraction through the year is the microlight fair -- almost a mini-PFA rally, with more microlights arriving than are imaginable.

Sat 2 Aug - David Wood - Salisbury
Visited Popham last week in a pair of Tiger Moths (G-ACDI and G-EMSY). Popham staff were as friendly and efficient as ever - despite the fact that I had transgressed the noise abatement rules by approaching 08 over the silos... The fellow on the desk even waived the landing fee - now that's what I call a welcome!

Great place. Always worth a visit.
