Dropped in (PPR) from Shoreham to a very warm welcome. Approaching from the south can be confusing with all the avoidance areas but followed useful advice from the tower to aim for Silverstone race track and follow R24 to intercept R27 short final. Very affable man in the tower, and after a great bacon butty we were invited to look around the hangers and workshops - some very impressive machines and paint jobs. Topped up with 60 litres and saved the £10 landing fee. A great day.
