| “ |  Flew in Monday 7th sept 2015 from Bicester in C42 Ikarus G-KTOW. Very welcoming with excellent PPR briefing. Much easier to fly in than anticipated, bearing in mind proximity to EGSS zone. Good food, very reasonably priced, and quick service. Good club atmosphere and lots of interesting aircraft. On departure Dax (office manager / Air Ground RT operator) suggested pre- calling EGSS air traffic control by phone to arrange a departure crossing the Class D. This made things very easy with a pre-set squawk, and we flew pretty much a direct track through both Stansted and Luton Class D Zones back to Bicester. Brilliant suggestion and wonderfully accommodating ATC. A great day out. ” |
