The field is easy to find, being adjacent to a 500' TV mast, which makes circuits slightly interesting. The windsock is on the southern edge of the strip on top of a circular platform and may be a little difficult to pick out. Approach to 08 is over low power cables.
Control is located in a well organised portacabin with kitchen (tea 25 p, Mars Bars in the fridge) and small crew room. The Devon Air Ambulance shares the field. They normally carry out several sorties a day.
