I flew from Cranfield to Bembridge for the first time on Saturday. Although the airfield is unlicensed at weekends, A/G was operating as normal. We were warmly welcomed and the landing fee for a PA38 was a very reasonable £7.50. We had a pleasant lunch at the airfield and then took a short walk to the beach at Whitecliff Bay which I would definitely recommend doing.

To conclude, Bembridge was an excellent day out and I hope to visit again in the near future!
