| “ | EGPL has to be one of the UK's most stunning airfields to visit with truly spectactular scenery as you approach. ATC offer an extremely friendly service as indeed does Scottish. Don't forget your rope for the tie down as winds can be fairly brutal in this part of the world. The runway configuration is helpful for allowing most landings into wind.
Just remember no avgas so either a quick trip to Stornoway or Oban is necessary. If travelling from the south then Prestwick is really handy and Ocean Sky offer a truly briliant service with fair fuel prices. ” |
