Bicester Airfield Photos
Why not share them with other UKGA users?

Bicester is just one big field, uneven in parts, with no marked runways.
As with some other gliding sites, visiting powered aircraft are tolerated but we rather got the feeling that they are not really encouraged. If so, and perhaps we just got them at a bad time, it is a shame as the airfield could be a popular destination for suitable aircraft and generate good revenue (the landing fee was £15).
There is an excellent briefing at http://bicestergliding.com/pdf/Visiting-Pilots-Info.pdf
Blind calls will be answered from the ground with the runway in use and notice of imminent winch launches.
