Bourne Park Airfield (disused)

In brief...
24 Sep 11: Aerofab move
After 20 years of operation at Bourne Park, Aerofab who established the airfield have now moved to Thruxton. Thruxton provides increased space and better facilities which makes it easier for the company to comply with the CAA M3 and Part M requirements. The airfield will continue but the PPR phone number 01264 736635 will no longer exist. Should you wish to contact Aerofab at Thruxton the new number is 01264 773724.

“ | Flew into Bourne Park from Kemble this summer. Took a minute or two to spot it but it has a straightforward circuit once you've found it. Runway quality was good albeit quite narrow with long grass on both sides - no issue in the 172 but if I was in a low wing I'd want to make sure I was right on the centre line. Very friendly welcome and several helicopter maintenance hangars to have a look around. Other than that, facilities are fairly limited, but given the excellent landing fee mentioned by others you couldn't ask for more. A good place to visit. ” |
