Pilot reviews of Chiltern Air Park

Paul Gandy - Heathfield
“ | predominantly a microlight airfield although I felw in in my Group A Jabiru and a Jodel 1050 was aslo visiting whilst I was there.
An easy airstrip to spot, the main runway being 040 / 220 runs parallel to the road.
PPR is essential and with a couple of microlights based there for training the chances are that there will be one in the circuit. there are also a few noise sensative areas to consider - its on the website. the arifield has a radio frequency and in my case there was a response from the ground however you may need to make blind calls.
Ruway was in reasonable condition and the apporaches are straightforward. ” |
