| “ |  I spent a considerable amount of time searching the local area for an airfield to undertake training, I wanted not only a place to learn but also a friendly club to spend time with. I read the reviews and thought on the whole very appealing. Having now been there, fuel is in a proper metal store not a caravan and the pump is 2 minutes slow winding and not an issue unless your a bit of a wimp, there are 80 year olds (and fat 43 year olds) there managing it! The welcome at clench common has been fantastic both the trainers and club members. If you want a sterile tarmac airfield with an overpriced vending machine then this is NOT the place for you! If however you want friendly people with a real club atmosphere and people helping each other, a challenging airfield to hone your skills on then this IS probably the place for you! Almost always someone answers a radio call and can advise on conditions etc... ” |
