Pilot reviews of Colemore Common / Petersfield Airfield

“ | Dropped into Colemore Common on the way back from Popham
PPR is required but a check of the website (Hampshire Microlight Flying Club - www.hmfclub.com) and a call to the PPR numbers given was no problem
The strip is fairly short at a little over 400m and is aprox 020 / 200 orientation. Good approaches from the south but a tree on the end of the runway if coming in from the North. My Jabiru SK had no difficulties getting in and out from the South, just used normal short field technique.
All circuits are to the east of the strip and calls (probably blind) are made on SafetyCom.
There are no facilities at the filed and the signing in book is kept in a barrel set into the ground by the windsock. landing fees are on the basis of donations ” |
