Made a brief visit into Crossland Moor this morning in a PA-28, not all much to do at the airfield to be honest, but def a good stop-off if you're en route to other locations or exploring the local area. I was a bit worried about the 2.6% upslope on 25, but had no problems at all. The airfield was practically deserted and totally void of any sort of assistance, however, the static caravan they have there provides a toilet and refreshments using an 'honesty box', which in my mind is totally perfect for the size of airfield etc. Def shall return if I'm passing by the area next time, a very relaxed airfield with stunning scenery. Simplicity at its finest!
