Flew into Duxford on two separate occasions last month (October 2013). On both occasions, me and my father were flying down from Netherthorpe to experience the museum, not to mention it's a great sightseeing trip en-route with uncluttered airspace on the way down.
The arrival/join procedures are well thought out and easy to follow, and ATC are always willing to make things work if you're joining from an awkward spot. ATC themselves are very professional.
The runway is no doubt the smoothest I have ever landed upon; not a single bump on the runway nor the taxiways. Nice long runway too, so don't worry if you're operating heavy.
Fuel was available on site and we were greeted by the fuel man on both occasions who drove up to our aircraft and sorted everything out. Second time round a museum guide also came to our aircraft; very helpful!
The only downside is the cost of the food/drink; it's around £8-£9 for a hot meal and drink, very expensive!!! The quality of the food itself is fine.
