First 50 m of asphalt Runway 24 is sterile and is marked with yellow chevrons. Powered aircraft RW 06 RH, RW 24 LH all circuits are to the South of the runway. All aircraft are to join down wind for the runway in use. Traffic departing Runway 06 continue straight ahead for 2nm before turning. Arriving traffic for Runway 24 join down wind and then position for 2nm final, avoiding over flight of Duxford Village. Traffic departing Runway 24 wishing to turn right, must maintain Runway heading until Royston. All joins from the North, r/w 06 in use, route via Sawston for a down wind join, r/w 24 in use, route via Royston for a down wind join.
