    In brief...

7 Oct 11: Twin engine turbine helicopters not permitted

    Chris Howe - Colchester

Until further notice, twin engine turbine helicopters are not permitted to land at Earls Colne.

Single engine turbine and piston helicopters are welcome providing they follow the prescribed heli routes on both arrival and departure to/from the airfield.

Air Ambulances/Police Air Support Units are exempted from this rule.

First time to Earls Colne today, easy to find exceptionally friendly staff, the young lady on reception/parking duties could not have been more helpful or friendly.

Would definitely recommend as visit here.
