I am currently Learning to fly at eshott. By road it is simple to find, also by air as it is directly parallel to the south bound lane of the A1. The facilities at Eshott are perfect: Toilet, Lounge, Kitchen, Picnic Area and FREE car parking. Eshott has 4 tarmac runways 01, 08,19 and 26. Hangers on site are quite big. Big enough to fit at least 40 flex wings in. Grass parking for Aircraft. Everybody you meet at Eshott will always have a smile on their face and always happy to help. Steve Clarehugh is the airfield owner and he is probably one of the most friendliest guys i have met.

Overall Eshott is "The" Airfield to fly from or to for a good day out.
