Hucknall Airfield (EGNA) (disused)
Hucknall Airfield home of Rolls Royce Flying Club for 50 years, will cease operation end of February 2015. The Airfield has been sold by RR for housing development. That's another airfield to become the victim of owners unsympathetic to their own companies' aviation roots. It is likely that RRMFC will relocate to Tatenhill.

“ | Flew in with my daughter today. Second visit to this historic airfield. Grass runways a little undulating but no problems at all and landing fee of £3 is great value. Real grass roots feel to the field and very friendly radio and welcome. I believe that the airfield does not have too long a future due to housing, so I recommend it to anyone. ” |
