“ | Flew into Jackrells Farm strip recently.
Essential to get the PPR briefing form Mike who will send an e-mail with the information that is requred to be carried.
I found it quite hard to spot coming in from the north and there are 3 other airstrips very close by inlcuding Ford which is just a stonesthrow to the west of Jackrells and therfore requires strict adherance to the designated approach and departure tracks.
Found the oak trees on 21 threshold a little "exciting" but there is a gap between them and with 550 metres to play with the Jabiru SK was in quite easily
No facilties, signin and leave your landing fee in the box on the hanger. ” |
