Visited Marshland airfield on 21/08/2019 as part of a 3 airfield land-away day in G-ROLY a C172 based at Netherthorpe (EGNF). I was passenger for the flight over but took the opportunity to complete a short circuit to log the airfield in my log book.
PPR was easy to arrange and the landing fee is simply left in a metal box on the wall of the building. Only one other aircraft was on the ground (possibly the owners) G-MZMX.
The runway is nice and long but quite bumpy, no issues really for Cessna types but anything more fragile might struggle.
The airfield is actually below sea level much like Amsterdam (EHAM) so this was good to get in the log book.
Not much in the way of facilities but a real grass roots airfield.
