“ | Visited on 14th July on short hop from Beverley.
Great strip with friendly residents. If your in the area its worth a visit. As others have said the approach on 07 can be tricky as strip is on high ground so is misleading also line of trees on approach and to north of strip so winds can make it interesting. ” |

“ | We landed at Mount Airey due to engine issues, and came across one of the most friendly, helpful and generous group of flyers you could wish to meet.
We found the airfield to be a simple, clean and well maintained set-up. Many thanks. ” |

“ | This seems to be a very friendly field. Len kindly gave us a lift into Beveley which is only about 10 minutes away. Field can be a little tricky to spot - look for the line of trees to the north. As per previous feedback, watch the height on the 07 approach - the land rises quickly giving the impression of being too high. ” |

“ | Recently started flying from this nice farm strip. Remeber to keep the power on final for 07 as the uphill slope makes you feel very high(falsely). The slope will slow you down easily.
If departing on 07, once safely in the air steer right 20-30 degrees to keep you away from the trasmission towers. All circuits to the south for noise abatement. Field freq. 135.7 ” |
