In brief...
25 May 14:
My Name is Richard Cole, I happen to be browsing to get info of the Messenger G-AKIM which I flew in the sixties, when up came a photo Of Kim taken by John May at Panshanger in June 1965, I happened to fly Kim to Panshanger on the 28th June 1965, Kim was a great plane and I enjoyed many flying hours in it, Sadly it was scraped due to Oil contamination to the main spar in 66, I am now 84 years young and still enjoying flying My groups Sports Cruiser and our THG Dimoner from my club at Waterford Ireland.

Latest review
“ | I received a notification by e-mail advising that, sadly, Panshanger is going to close in September so I thought that I would fly in while I could. it was nice and busy, with good food, as usual, in the Cafe. the guys in the flying school confirmed that the airfield is closing in September "unless something changes". so visit while you can and enjoy another of our really good, active, grass airfields while its still their If you haven't visited before its easy to find and get into albeit its a busy area for airspace and other GA traffic. there are noise abatement requirements for departure. ” |
