	From Stephen Nuttall 16 Nov 17 Flew into Conington on 27 October to take the greyhounds for a walk. It's been five years since we were last here, but the airfield and café were as friendly as ever. After refuelling, we had to park on the grass behind the club house because, although this was a Friday in October, the aircraft parking and café were absolutely heaving. (Mind you, it was one of those superb autumn days when it would have been rude not to fly if you had the chance!) As before, we went for a walk and the roads and paths were nice and quiet. The dusk/night flight back to Blackpool finished off a truly lovely visit. Conington is a great destination with reasonable prices, a GREAT café and very friendly. Highly recommended. 	From Liam Sandie 29 May 12 Visited Peterborough on 18/05/2012 after departing Netherthorpe and routing via Leicester (where we also landed). Easy to work ut the circuit pattern as there is very little else around the airfield apart from the small villages. Nice long runway which had a bit of a crosswind on our visit. We had lunch for 2, cranberry and goats cheese panini and a daily special chilli con carne. Both meals very nice and came in at around £8. They were also serving alcohol. Lots of interesting articles up on the walls thorughout the club house and it seems plenty on offer here training wise. Well worth a visit. You and 3 others like this. Login to say you like this

	From Richard Jones 1 May 07 Flew into Connington today from Liverpool after what seemed like an age due to a harsh head-wind. A/G info was very polite and professional the welcome warm the fueling facilities good and the ham & cheese panini was a belter. £5.00 landing fee waived with the uplift of 40Litres of avgas.
