Visited for the fly in on 10th October. Rwy 03 L/H in use. Experienced severe wind-sheer on short finals low over the trees, but plenty of runway ahead to sort out any problems and land. Plenty of visiting aircraft. ATC was friendly and ground handling was excellent from the "Follow Me" golf buggy to the ground marshallers. Lots of people milling around the parked aircraft taking photos, seemed a bit chaotic at times with members of the public photograping and "touching" parked aircraft (why they have to touch has always puzzled and somewhat worried me) although no problems occurred. Great food on offer from the cafe inside or the burger van outside. Great mixture of GA from large AN-2 down to tiny microlights. Great event.
