| “ | Visited the Saint-Omer Jodel lovers fly in on the 12th September (in a Jabiru!). Great airfield, coped easily with the 80 odd visitors, over half of whom flew in form the UK.
Even coped with all of our requests to close flight plans and file / open return plans - fantastic
no A/G radio but blind calls are a must and don't fly overe the prison on the approach to 27
As it was a fly in the catering was a one off and very good it was too
A place to visit again.
no customs (special exemption had been made for the fly in) so normally would have to route via a larger airfield to do the formalities ” |
