Flew into Seething for the last control tower opening of 2015 and club open day.
It was a hazy day and so very few other aircraft flew in, but despite that there were plenty of club members present and I received a very warm welcome.
The club laid on a great spread of BBQ and all the salad trimmings, just £5, so much food that I couldn't even face the puddings that came out afterwards.
My only observation was that the £10 landing donation for single light GA aircraft was a little on the high side for a Flexwing Microlight (that I flew), but there was tea and coffee and tea included in the price.
