Sheffield City is one of the best GA facilities in the North of England. I have included Sheffield in my first land away outing from Sherburn Aero Club in Robin G-SACK after flying with my friend with Yorkshire Vintage in Warrior G-BPKM, YV being a very friendly outfit. The runway, being originally built for commercial operations, is of ample length and kept to a very high standard, the parking facilities are again very well kept as is the airport in general. To complement the facilities, very helpful and friendly people, particularly the A/G operator in "the tower" make Sheffield well worth the £11 landing fee.
