Shoreham :- This was my first visit to Shoreham, I called ahead for weather, and was given a very professional weather report by a very helpful ATC person. On first contact by radio I was offered overhead or crosswind join. I opted for overhead as I was not familiar with the airfield. ATC were very helpful, as were the staff on the ground. Food was excellent and there is a great viewing area where you can eat your food. It was amusing to see my 'flight' details on the arrivals board, and I was pleased to have arrived within 1 minute of my eta. Landing fee is steep at £18, but in the grand scheme of costs involved in running an aircraft its really not that much. Definitely one that I will go to again.
