Shoreham is an enjoyable place to learn to fly, as the airport has lots of history, the airfield can get very busy on weekends, has professional ATC. The Airfield has a hard surface runway 02/20, so this isn't so much of a limitation when planning to fly after a spell of bad weather – not like Redhill!
