Good quality Grass strip running East West. No radio. I had to do a weather divert in here and avoided the desk because of the throught of the £10 voluntary but really compulsory "donation". A lot of pilots have told me they were angry at it being called a donation but if you say you will donate something less they get very funny with you indeed and so basically why dont they just call it a £10 landing fee and be done with it. Anyhow my landing was a genuine weather divert so I thought I dont want to argue the toss with the Country Store Staff who probably dont understand the spirit of aviation and weather diverts so I got a coffee and waited it out and went on my merry way. The country store is top notch and the coffee shop good quality.
