I flew to Welshpool from City Airport Manchester (Barton) with a friend and out two lads aged 6 and 7.

Lovely scenic flight and arrival into what was a lovely runway with helpful staff.

The airfiled is definitely under used but so glad we visited as we had a great time and were made to feel very welcome.

The lady who operated the A/G also took out reasonable landing fee and made the coffee!

Facilities are limited but adequate and so much more than just a tick in the book of airfields I wanted to visit.

I will lost definitely visit again.
