Pilot reviews of West Freugh Airfield

20 Jul 03 - Philip C Robinson - Newton Stewart
West Freugh is owned by the MOD and up until 2 years ago was available for use. The airfield is now closed. The tower is still manned and controls the local range, but you will not be allowed to land there which is a great pity because the scenery in this part of Scotland is stunning.
