Just wondered if anyone else had come across my little problem. I have fitted an AVMap Engibox to my Rotax912 powered Streak Shadow. On starting the engine all seems fine until (after warmed up!) I increase the throttle. When the engine gets to around 3500rpm the reading shoots up to in excess of 7000rpm!! (On a 912!!). I must point out its only the reading that is increasing, the actual RPM is normal(ie the engine isn't revving any harder). I have had a look on a few forums and people talk about putting a 220ohm resistor across the RPM Send and the RPM ground terminals. Has anyone had any experience of this and does it work?
Looking forward to hearing...
