Proposed change to UK & Irish airspace Transition Altitude

The Transition Altitude in both UK and Irish airspace is set to be raised significantly in a bid to make more efficient use of airspace over the UK and Ireland and to move into line with other nations.

Stratos aircraft to conduct wind tunnel test verification programme

Having received part of their external funding, Stratos Aircraft are set to conduct wind tunnel testing of the Stratos 714 in the Spring of 2011. Design and construction of the wind tunnel model has begun and tests will take place over a five to ten day period.
