TAG Farnborough airspace grab "dangerous" & "confusing"

GA organisations, magazines and pilots have voiced concern about the extensive controlled airspace proposed by TAG Farnborough. The grab for CAS, which would block out uncontrolled airspace from the River Thames to the English Channel, has been criticised for the disruption and danger it will cause to GA pilots across a large area. Pilots are urged to comment on the proposals before the deadline for feedback on 2 May 2014.
Robin announces new DR401

Robin Aircraft has announced its new DR401, a makeover of the DR400. Daniel Triquès and his team just put the finishing touches on their new creation within eighteen months after launching the project and less than two years after the revival of production in Darois.
Local pilots invited to briefing on Commonwealth Games airspace restrictions

Following the Government’s announcement that this summer’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow will be subject to airspace security restrictions, the CAA has organised a major briefing session for the pilots likely to be affected. The restrictions, which will be operational between 13th July and 6th August 2014, affect flights taking place in and around Glasgow, but commercial passenger flights to or from Glasgow Airport will be exempt.
