Another successful CAA prosecution

A microlight pilot has been prosecuted by the CAA for flying through Manchester airport’s controlled airspace on 20 January 2017, causing significant delays to commercial aircraft.

Tecnam’s second LEAP for NASA

Costly errors

Last December PPL Andrew Hart took off from Weston Airport, Dublin in a Piper PA-28 bound for Shobdon. On his arrival there a visiting flying instructor was concerned that he had landed in poor weather conditions and asked to see his pilot’s licence, which he was unable to produce.

Sixty-six athletes from three air sports to take part in The World Games 2017

Glide Britain promotes the sport in a series of real flying visits

With the aim of raising the general awareness and understanding of gliding among the public, the British Gliding Association’s Glide Britain project team will be flying a glider on over a 1200 km journey across the UK, visiting thirteen gliding clubs over a two week period starting on Saturday 15 July.
