Vulcan viewing gallery opens on Good Friday
Following XH558's arrival at Robin Hood Airport a fortnight ago, Vulcan To The Sky has been busy preparing for an Easter public viewing from a gallery within the terminal building.
This gallery will be open to the public from Good Friday on 22nd April through to Monday 2nd May inclusive.
Visitors will be able to see the iconic XH558 parked on a stand just outside the gallery, take photographs, and try the flight simulator. Visitors won't be able to tour inside the Vulcan during this Easter showing, but there are plans to open it up in the future.
A shop will sell a wide selection of Vulcan merchandise, with staff and volunteers on hand to answer any questions.
Selected airport facilities will be available to offer refreshments, and car parking will be discounted to just £3 irrespective of your stay if you ask for an exit token in exchange for your normal car park ticket with any purchase at Wetherspoons within the Vulcan viewing lounge.
The Viewing Gallery will be open 11am – 4pm. On arrival at the airport, simply follow the signs to the upper level, pass the Robin Hood statue, and bear left to find the viewing gallery area.
