Canadian pilot makes hair-raising emergency road landing

The pilot of a four-seater Cessna aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing on busy Highway 10 near Montreal in Canada on Monday due to mechanical problems.

All four people on board escaped without injury, and a tow truck was deployed to remove the plane from the highway within an hour of the incident.

The engine cut out mid-flight and the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing on the road despite heavy traffic approaching rush hour.

You can see a video link from the Daily Mail's coverage of the story.
