Air Safari offers UK pilots winter flying trip Down Under
For pilots eager to pack in some flying adventures before the British weather brightens up, Air Safari's 16-day SE Australian Adventurer trip takes off in February 2012 -- and there is still time to sign up.
Focusing on Tasmania and south eastern Australia, the tour packs in 40 hours of flying over a variety of spectacular landscapes. Highlights include four nights in Tasmania; a two-night ranch stay in the eastern Outback; a Sydney harbour scenic flight at 500 feet; and scenery including the Great Ocean Road and the highest mountains in Australia.
Air Safaris International organises guided, all-inclusive flying tours to adventurous destinations enabling GA pilots to explore new horizons with a small group of like-minded travellers. They take care of the logistics to make the experience more of a holiday for pilots taking part -- and the pace of the trip aims to give everyone some time to relax and take in their surroundings at each destination.
