Seething announces 2012 Charity Air Day
Seething Airfield Charity Air Day is set to take place on the 9th September in 2012, with plans already well underway for the day's packed schedule of displays.
The organisers hope to span more than 90 years of flying heritage this year, with some brand news displays as well as a return of many old favourites from past shows.
The famous Spitfire of Carolyn Grace, a star of both the skies and the screen, is to display at this year's event, as is the striking World War II Fiesler Storch, with its long undercarriage and high aspect ratio wings.
The event raises money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Flying in to the event
Seething Airfield has space for a limited number of visiting aircraft wishing to fly in for the show. The airfield will be open from 9am to 12 noon and will open again after the main display at 16.30, although these times are subject to change. Aircraft must book a landing slot in advance. If you would like to fly in you can use the online form to reserve your landing slot, letting the airfield know your approximate time of arrival. Only aircraft with a confirmed landing slot will be permitted to land, and landing donations and entrance fees apply.
