Chiltern Aerodrome applies for protected status
As we reported last month the Pearsons, who have run Chiltern Park since 1988, have been given notice by the owner of the land to leave by the end of September.
To assist the application for ACV status, the Pearsons are asking anyone who supports flying activities at the airfield to send them an email.
The emails should be sent to email@example.com, quoting in the subject line the application reference:?AoCVN\100018 Chiltern Park Aerodrome.
All the responses will be collated and sent to the local council department dealing with the application.Chiltern Park Aerodrome is the home of Chiltern Airsports Centre, which caters for a range of aircraft including gyrocopters, microlights, helicopters and gliders.
It’s also the weekend home of the London Parachute School. About thirty people work at the site as self-employed contractors, and visitor numbers exceed five thousand a year.
