Ehang AAVs in fire drill
Several EHang Autonomous Aerial Vehicles (AAVs), including the EH216F (firefighting model), EH216 and Falcon B Series were used in a recent UAV fire drill in Shandong Province, China.
The drill replicated a high-rise fire scenario with numerous AAVs being used for fire detection, aerial broadcasting, airdropping firefighting supplies, breaking high-rise windows, extinguishing localised fires and rescuing trapped people.
The exercise was the first time an EH216F has been used by emergency departments in a fire drill after being positively evaluated by the Chinese authorities.
